FIRST EVER HOLE IN ONE SCOOPS GRADUS GOLF DAY

30 August 2007

The southeast Gradus golf day was a momentous occasion for one keen golfer who not only beat odds of 4000 to 1 to get his first ever hole in one - but did so on the 18th to win himself the match!

Bill McCallum of Contract Flooring Services Ltd was amongst thirteen customers and staff who turned out at Moor Park Golf Club in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire to play in four teams using the Stableford points system.

Says Kim Broadhurst of Gradus Floorcoverings: “Bill has been playing golf for donkey’s years but this was his first hole in one so he was obviously over the moon! The course was beautiful, we were blessed with gorgeous weather and the stunning clubhouse at Moor Park was the perfect 19th hole for Bill’s celebrations!”

John Fitch of J Fitch Flooring won second place, John Dufosse of Total Contract Solutions came third, whilst Kim Broadhurst of Gradus hit the longest drive of 330 yards on the 16th hole.

Opened in 1923, Moor Park golf course is located in the grounds of an elegant 17th century mansion, which is one of the most photographed clubhouses in golf.

Gradus supplies an extensive range of floorcoverings for contract interiors including nylon and polypropylene carpets, printed carpets, entrance matting and cork flooring. For further details, please contact Gradus Customer Service on 01625 428922.
