Gradus CLC20/TDB45 is a two-piece PVC-u flooring profile designed to provide cable management for the Gradus illuminated stair edging system or to house the Gradus LED floor loom or Interlok Advance LED lighting system for walkway and aisle illumination. The Continuity LED lighting system can also be housed in this profile when used with the clear top, up to a maximum of 10 metres per single run.
It has a 7.5mm gauge in order to accommodate medium gauge carpets, and provides a safe transition between floorcoverings of different heights.
The base is fitted to the floor first to house the cabling, then the top is clipped into place. The top is co-extruded with a clear or smoked window so that light can shine through when used as an illuminated floor system.
When fitted, the compressed thickness of the carpet should always be a tight fit to the internal gauge of the combined top/base profile. The base should always be fitted on top of the vinyl floorcovering.
