Specific areas within a school, university or office interior, such as breakout areas, walkways, reception areas and boardrooms, can be emphasised with colour and design. This ‘zoning process’ not only helps to differentiate these areas, but can also help to create a unique and interesting floor scheme.

Gradus offer a wide choice of carpet tile ranges which coordinate and work well together, and can therefore be used to differentiate different zones of a building or to create a unique design statement.

Gradus’ Wall Street range includes two designs, which are both available in tile format, in loop pile construction – ‘Wall Street’ and ‘Wall Street Stripes’. Wall Street Stripes features an attractive linear design and Wall Street is a coordinating plain textured design. Wall Street can be installed either broadloom or quarter turn and Wall Street Stripes can be installed either broadloom, quarter turn or brick bond. This offers great flexibility and can be used to enhance an interior by customising the floor to complement a specific design scheme or corporate identity.

Similarly, the Times Square range is available in nine contemporary colours and is supplied in six different tile designs, which can be installed randomly on the floor. The colour range consists of one plain grey option in a variation of grey tones and eight other colours which feature the same grey base tones but with an option of the following accent colours: Natural, Yellow, Orange, Red, Lime, Lilac, Light Blue or Electric Blue.

The colours offer versatility and can be used alone or can work together. Times Square has been specifically designed to be installed in any direction, which means that the tiles can be installed randomly to reduce installation time and wastage, as individual tiles can be replaced easily and no pattern matching is required.

The SqMile with Emphasis range also features a wide range of colours available in tile format, in cut pile construction. The range includes a variety of ‘SqMile’ colours comprising naturals, reds, greens, blues and greys and a choice of vibrant ‘Emphasis’ colours including red, orange, green and blue. SqMile with Emphasis can be used to emphasise different zones within a building or to create a unique design statement.
