Dating back 150 years, Wellington College is one of Britain's leading co-educational schools for boarding and day pupils. The sports centre is used by both the school and the public, and offers a range of activities and classes, as well as a Total Body Gym with over 80 pieces of fitness equipment.
Gradus’ heavy duty PVC Stratum skirting in Dove (Grey) was installed in the centre’s changing room area as a lower maintenance and more hygienic alternative to traditional timber painted skirting. The smooth, matt PVC finish is resistant to stains, dents and scratches, and will not splinter, chip and crack like traditional timber skirtings.
The Stratum range also contains up to 80% recycled PVC, making it an ideal option when environmental considerations are paramount.
Suitable for a wide range of contract applications including education, healthcare and commercial offices, Stratum is semi-flexible and can be installed around gentle curves or can accommodate and disguise minor irregularities in wall surfaces. Plus, Stratum skirtings are installed using contact adhesive, which eliminates the need for processes normally associated with wood skirting such as sanding, priming, and painting.
