GXT13 stair edging (nosing) comprises an aluminium channel with a choice of insert material that extends around the leading edge of the profile to ensure that foot contact is always made with the slip-resistant element of the stair edging.

XT Aluminium stair edgings offer an ideal solution for commercial applications including offices, education and healthcare, and is suitable for use in heavy traffic interior applications. It can be used in conjunction with floorcoverings from all major manufacturers.

The range is also offered in a choice of premium finishes for use in hospitality, leisure, retail, commercial office, premium residential and other prestigious medium traffic interior applications.

XT features a unique insert locking mechanism to secure the insert in place. Inserts are available in 3 options – new Metal Castellated in a choice of finishes, in addition to Interior or Xtra-grip formats.

GXT13 is a square, single wide channel profile for heavy traffic or deep tread applications, with a 73.5mm tread and 40mm riser to meet the guidance in Approved Document M and BS 8300-2:2018. It has a 5mm gauge making it ideal for use with carpet or resilient flooring with bevelled underlay in heavy use areas.

ANT355 nap trim and TAXT42 stair trim are suitable for use with GXT13 and available in a choice of 7 finishes to match the channel.
