New ASVXT1R stair edging (nosing) comprises an aluminium channel with a choice of insert material that extends around the leading edge of the profile to ensure that foot contact is always made with the slip-resistant element of the stair edging.

It features a new unique mechanical locking mechanism that secures the insert in place making it ideal for use in areas that are subject to more intensive cleaning e.g. healthcare and education environments.

It is a square, single channel profile with a 70mm tread and a 40mm riser. It incorporates a notched ramp back that has been designed to overlay 2mm vinyl floorcovering. This provides a neat finish, protects the edge of the vinyl from lifting and ensures a safe transition.

Supplied in mill finish aluminium. Can also be supplied anodised.
