The Gradus sleeved steel handrail is a modular system consisting of polymer sleeved steel rails and cast steel sleeved accessories. It is ideal for use in environments where pedestrian areas and walkways are adjacent to vehicle routes for example car parks, service areas and loading bays. It provides pedestrian support and guidance whilst providing a barrier to vehicles and thus keeping pedestrians safe.Upright posts are sleeved Black whilst Yellow rail sleeves provide greater visual contrast for both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.  The sleeves also help to provide a handrail that can be gripped easily, is comfortable to the touch and provides a smooth hand transition in line with the guidance in Approved Documents K and M of The Building Regulations 2010 and BS8300:2009+A1:2010.The system comprises top rails, mid rails and upright posts (mid, end and corner options).
