Offering a useful resource for flooring contractors and specifiers, Stair Edgings & Floor Trims Edition 3 includes information on the latest products, standards and guidance. The new products featured include, wetroom transition strips, specialist floor trims, stair edging side trims and expansion joint covers.

Gradus’ wetroom transition strips are designed to be installed in shower and swimming pool areas with resilient flooring, in order to contain water and prevent it encroaching into dry areas. Achieving a low risk of slip with a Pendulum Test Value (PTV) of 41, the new product is available in five colours, with varying height options, and is ideal for education, healthcare and leisure interior environments
where there are areas that require a water barrier but need to be accessible.

The catalogue also features two new aluminium side trims, TAXT5212 and TAXT523, which are both designed to work specifically with Gradus’ CXT aluminium stair edgings. The CXT stair edging profiles have a deeper gauge to accommodate ceramic tiles, marble and stone floorcoverings. The TAXT5212 and TAXT523 side trims utilise separate tabs (TC3) to set the height of the trims for both the tread and the riser.

Anthony Roberts, marketing product manager for Gradus, said: “Stair Edgings & Floor Trims Edition 3 is not just a product guide, it is also an invaluable resource that provides our customers with the information they need in order help meet the guidance in the latest Building Regulations and British Standards in an easy to understand format.

“The catalogue launches a number of new products, including expansion joint covers, an entirely new product category that will be available in August. We have also included an overview of our existing lighting profiles accompanied with information about other lighting products we supply. All the new products are designed with safety in mind and ensure professional, neat finishes.”

The catalogue has also launched several new specialist floor trim profiles, including additions to the stainless steel range of cover strips, with both central and side drilled options available, and a new T profile for the neat finishing of joints between floorcoverings.
