The new folder brings Boulevard 6000, Boulevard 5000HD and Boulevard 1500 together, showing samples of the 20 colours available as well as incorporating a detailed product brochure, which will enable specifiers and architects to select the most fit-for-purpose product.

The brochure shows where Boulevard barrier carpets can be used within a building, using a ‘zonal’ illustration, and how they work as an overall matting system when used in conjunction with primary entrance matting. In addition, each range is illustrated using an installation photograph, accompanied by details on the colour range, specification information and Light Reflectance Values (LRVs). The brochure also includes cleaning and maintenance guidelines, explaining its importance in maintaining product performance and appearance.

Boulevard secondary barrier carpets help to maintain the aesthetics of surrounding floorcoverings by reducing the amount of dirt and moisture tracked in from foot and wheeled traffic. This in turn, reduces maintenance costs and prolongs the life of the surrounding floorcoverings.

Boulevard also helps to increase safety by significantly reducing slip, trip and fall accidents in line with The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document M, BS8300:2009+A1:2010 and the Equality Act 2010 guidelines.

The Boulevard ranges are suitable for a wide range of environments including commercial, hospitality, retail, healthcare and education, and can be installed in all areas of a building that are at increased risk of soiling and heavy wear including reception areas, lift lobbies, staircases, corridors, vending areas, warehouses and trade counters.

Karen Burman, Floorcoverings Product Manager for Gradus, said: “Our new Boulevard folder contains comprehensive advice and information on each of the secondary barrier carpet ranges. The brochure includes strong product photography, detailed information on colour ranges, and cleaning and maintenance advice, in order to help the end-user specify the correct product for their application.”
