Floor trims specialist Gradus has added new PVC-u options to its popular MTS range of self-levelling trims, designed for use with natural floorcoverings that require expansion.

The MTS multi-trim system is a two-piece transition profile, now available with a PVC-u base and PVC-u or aluminium tops.

Suitable for interior use in medium traffic applications such as offices and restaurants, the bases and ramps are available in a choice of profiles and heights to join floorcoverings of the same height, to finish the edge of a floorcovering or to join floorcoverings of different heights. The bases and ramps are supplied separately for greater versatility.

Caroline Davies, Accessories Product Manager for Gradus, said: “The MTS range can be used to create a smooth join between a wide range of floor materials, including ceramics, terrazzo, wood and wood laminate that require natural expansion. The tops are tapped into the bases to set the height, which gives contractors a choice of height options within one transition profile. The MTS range is a cost-effective one size fits all trims solution for joining carpet and natural floor finishes.”

MTS PVC-u tops are available in a choice of six colours and the metal tops are supplied in polished or etched silver.

The MTS PVC-u system is one of a number of new products and range updates recently introduced by Gradus. The company has published a special 52-page guide covering its full range of ramps, joining profiles, covers and movement joints.

Gradus floor trims are available next day from stock. Further information on the PVC-u MTS system is available online at or to request a copy of the new trims price list catalogue, contact Gradus Customer Support on 01625 428922.
