The new user-friendly catalogues incorporate new striking photography and ‘zonal’ illustrations of where Gradus products can be used within a building to protect floor and wall surfaces. Typical installation examples of healthcare, education and commercial environments are featured in the wall protection catalogue, whilst the matting catalogue shows where primary and secondary Gradus matting can be used in different areas that are at risk of soiling and heavy wear.

In addition, each range is illustrated using installation photography, accompanied by profile information and colour availability, including Light Reflectance Values (LRVs).

Both catalogues also feature a comprehensive ‘Specification Guidelines’ section detailing the main points relating to matting/wall protection from The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document M and BS8300:2009+A1:2010 plus specific construction guidelines for each product area, with supporting advice and recommendations from Gradus.

Rachael Robertson, Matting & Wall Protection Product Manager for Gradus, said: “Protecting interior floors and walls is crucial to maximising the lifecycle of a building, reducing maintenance costs and providing safe, accessible environments for all users.

“Gradus barrier matting systems help to reduce slip accidents caused by wet flooring and maintain the aesthetics of surrounding floorcoverings by reducing the amount of dirt and moisture tracked in from foot and wheeled traffic. Wall Protection products, on the other hand, are designed to protect walls, corners and doors against impact and abrasion damage from pedestrian and wheeled traffic whilst maintaining the overall appearance of the interior throughout its life.”
