On Solid Ground – Gradus Launches Esplanade 8000 Primary Barrier Matting
Click on image to enlargeEsplanade 8000 has been specially developed for use in both interior and exterior environments subject to heavy foot and heavy wheeled traffic, such as shopping centres, airports and railway stations.
Available in 12mm and 18mm thicknesses and in open and closed constructions, the new matting system comprises silver anodised aluminium scrapers and rigid PVC-u carriers, incorporating either heavy scraper yarn carpet wipers made from 100% solution dyed nylon (in a choice of three colours – Orca, Shark and Marlin) for extremely effective moisture and dirt removal, or black PVC wipers for scraping off dirt, all joined together using stainless steel threaded bars.
Each wiper colour option has a light reflectance value (LRV) to allow visual contrast with adjacent surfaces to be achieved, in line with Approved Document M of The Building Regulations and BS8300:2009+A1:2010.
